KATSUSHI KAMIJIMA, Presidential Founder, Healthy Coffee Japan
After graduating from the Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, Kamijima traveled the world as a tour conductor and flew monthly back and forth across the Pacific Ocean for a large trading company. Later, he gained a wealth of experience in international distribution serving as a foreign purchasing agent for several American department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Lord & Taylor. Kamijima applied the experience and insights he gained in cross-cultural business to become an international business consultant. He participated in a number of consulting projects for Japanese and American clients and NPOs, involving market surveys, business alliances, mergers & acquisitions, and support for new market entrance. Later in life, Kamijima felt the need get into closer touch with his Asian roots and trained as a Buddhist monk for a year. But the lure of global commerce caught up with him again and he returned to work in the arena of international business. Yet, he never forgot the unique lessons and perspectives he acquired as a Buddhist monk, applying them to his business affairs. Kamijima has been involved in network marketing since 1993, building networks of tens of thousands of members for two difference companies. He has also worked as a consultant for American network marketing companies venturing into the Japanese market.
